I dont understand what it is but there are several odors that restore fond memories and one of them could be the whiff of a freshly baked cookie. I dont have a particularly sweet tooth and can in fact survive without cakes or sweets but once I am hit by that dessert smell I am taken to a and wonderful place. I would like to enjoy the cookie all on my own and find myself a quiet place with a cup of my favourite coffee and prepare to be in heaven. 

It isnt only eating a freshly baked cookie that is enjoyable but making them can be very satisfying too. Cookie cooking can be great fun when you yourself have small children and where a number of my earliest dessert memories result from that's probably. I remember how much I loved helping my grandma then form them on a baking dish and mix all the cookie elements together before they are put by her in the stove. I felt so special when she allow me to lick the mixing bowl clear of the cookie mixture also! Anyway, the very first time I suggested that my daughter may help me bake some cookies she was about four years old and her small face lit up. A mess was made quite by us I must be honest but we really had a great time together and the cookies didnt turn out all that bad either. 

Then why not give cookie cooking a try If you have small children in your household? You dont have to be a great cook; in reality you can get dessert combinations that you only have to include water to so you have more chance of cooking great snacks. You might always get a number of the cookie dough that has gain popularity but I do believe that the mixing process is the best bit! Making different styles of cookies and then decorating them a short while later can be something which most kids love to do. You could even consider providing many of these homemade cookies as gifts, particularly if your children helped cause them to become. A dessert that has been decorated with a grandchild for Christmas or some other special event is likely to be appreciated far more when compared to a store bought one.
