Jackson is really a city with a lot to offer from both practical perspective and a social. There are 11 schools around, a concert, opera and multiple galleries within the background of the south and the civil rights movement. 

Tupelo 

Tupelo is well known best if you are the birthplace of Elvis Presley. With a high profile like that, a major effort have been made by Tupelo to capitalize on the fame. Tourists flock to the area to see the school, first house and etc of the one. Notwithstanding Elvis, Tupelo is just a pleasant town with golf courses and such. There isnt much to suggest it nor is there much to criticize.
