If you taken care of defective goods or services on your own credit card and the merchant won't resolve the problem, you can record a dispute with the credit card company using a process named, Claims and Defenses. 

What're claims and defenses? 

States and defenses are any valid reasons you have for perhaps not paying a particular bank card charge. They include billing errors, unauthorized charges, and claims that goods or services were misrepresented, faulty, or not delivered.
