Self uncertainty, indecision, & fear the three horsemen that ruin your chances for success. If you have one of these feelings the other two are nearby. If you've doubt in your skills as a or are incisive on how you're going to fight your opponent, fear will automatically kick in & dominate. Your chances of being victorious before even entering the ring is going to be broken out. These emotions can influence your performance because of the mind / human body connection. You'll hesitate on fully investing in your methods & combinations while fighting. You'll telegraph your actions due to indecision and your rate of your practices will slow down due to being firm & rigid. 

Like animals, which sense fear, humans are no different. The vibrations of fear pass from one mind to some other just as easily & certainly as a human voice. Your opponent throughout the ring can sense your anxiety & put it to use to his advantage. The three horsemen have to be mastered before claiming your title in or outside of the ring. 

Here are some ideas 

1. Think from your own opponents mind, what would he do? 

2. Watch & assess your competitors fights to get a sense of his game plan 

3. Concentrate & remind your self of your skills as a fighter. 

4. At night before going to sleep rehearse your struggle plan in your thoughts & what you would do to counter attacks 

5. Have a flexible fight plan ready in your head & stick to it
