San Bartholme is the most central of the countries seven cities separating the two different areas of the north and south of the island. There while we did have visited three on our many trips to the area, are relatively few shorelines in this area. 

The first beach is recognized as Guacimeta. This 1,050m stretch of seashore of toasted sand and calm waters is quite exemplary as shores get, except that its too near to the airport for my liking. Parking was good and it may be reached via guaguas (autobus). You will find Shops, Bar/Restaurants, Public telephones and a pleasant promenade so its nevertheless a beach worth a trip. 

The next beach is in a semi-developed place next to the airport and the Guacimeta beach and is recognized as Playa Honda. At 1,900m.long and 85m wide it is the biggest in this area and includes medium grained golden sand and calm waters producing good conditions for windsurfing and making it ideals for people. It is about five minutes drive from the airport, therefore the noise from aircraft will not spoil your fun and its an easy task to park. 

We call it our Last Day beach!! 

Are you experiencing to be from your hotel early?? 

Have you been on a afternoon or evening trip?? 

Have you been to accomplish something with the youngsters without them getting too worked up on the past day?? 

Before you fly home? are you stressed at the notion of spending hours at the airport? 

Then, when I say trust me, this beach and Playa Honda usually is a good spot to visit en-route home. 

Here are my views of it : 

* The Beach is amazing ; 

* The whole part of Playa Honda is not specifically directed at people visitors, and that means you keep Lanzarote having experienced the canarian part of it ; 

* There are certainly a good collection of restaurants across the beachfront helping traditional Spanish Tapas and the Spanish Omelette into die for. There's other quality canarian food available along with issues for the children (when they the kind) ; and 

* It has a selection of other shops readily available to keep you well busy (duty free items, items etc). 

Finally, we have Manhattan project Concha, 250m Long and 10m wide, Fine golden sand, and calm waters. 

Manhunter Concha beach is next to the growth of the same name only on the borders of the capaital, Arrecife. Great parking again and accessible via guaguas (autobus) and a small balcony of shops and bar/restaurants. [http://www.cerritosford.com/ orange county ford dealer]
