If you are trying to understand everything you can concerning the Toyota Prius doing some research on hybrid vehicles and especially, this would be a great place to begin. Within the next couple weeks, I'll be writing a set of articles about the most widely used hybrid car in the relatively brief history of hybrid vehicles. As opposed to begin with the initial and earliest Prius type and work our way forward, we'll begin with a survey of the future edition and end by returning in time.Rumors about what we supposedly know so far.For beginners, the next generation Toyota Prius gets a much needed increase in engine size, moving from the 1.5 liter engine we've seen from 2004-2009 to some 1.8 liter powerhouse. In improvement, the new Prius is an inch broader and and inch smaller in total. Phrases have now been made by Toyota the next-generation Prius may include some form of plug-in hybrid solution (aka PHEV), and a lithium-ion battery. Lithium batteries are said to be stronger and brighter compared to the nickel people in previous model year Prius. Not much...yet.Probably the most effective available information on how another Toyota Prius will differ from what we have seen during the last 5 years comes from a test-drive and report in Popular Mechanics. To review, the prototype mentioned in this essay still had a 1.5L engine, alongside two (2) nickel-metal hydride (NiMh) batteries - the same people the current edition uses. The driver was able to attain speeds of approximately 50 mph applying only the batteries, and estimates were that this prototype could be able to visit 3-4 miles without ever engaging the gas engine.Does everyone have a clue? The next generation Prius features a innovative three-link independent rear suspension, extraordinary hardness due to extensive utilization of high-strength material, and substantial crash-safety scores.Three Toyota Prius' are better than one.Lastly, I discovered a post on Motor Authority quoting another article in Automobile Magazine that stated Toyota's plans release a three new hybrid cars marked the Prius A, B, and C, with the new models due in the next several years. So [http://www.cars4sa.co.za/NewToyotaForSale new toyota]...there you've it. After reading and scanning nearly a hundred pages of pure speculation concerning the key Prius, I truly don't feel just like we know any such thing yet. When that changes, we'll get you the great stuff. As is stands nowadays, the Prius is still the cross to overcome.
