新页面

I initially chose my career in nursing for economic reasons. Certainly one of my friends had turn into a registered nurse and was building a very comfortable living. Once we would get together, I would frequently ask her questions about the time commitment associated with getting an what she liked and and disliked about the work. Being a close friend, she tried her best to paint a precise picture for me of what her daily work was all about and truly did not sugarcoat her place. While I was interested in what she had to say, I was far more interested to find a method to quickly increase my earning potential. While I visited college I enrolled in a medical program and worked part time. After college, I was able to get yourself a job in a senior care facility. I was already prepared for the worst I might encounter and was excited to getting my first salary.

My first paycheck came and went, and while I was pleased to be making a higher hourly wage, my focal point had changed. You see, for initially in my own working life, I actually looked forward to going to work. It is not that I ever hated any specific past work so much that I dreaded to arrive, but more a necessary evil that I always considered work. Nursing changed that for me.

Each and every day, I get to help people. I comfort them if they have to be comforted. I listen once they need someone to keep in touch with. I've a very busy schedule, and not every thing I do is rewarding as well as pleasant, but you will find aspects of this job that produce me feel like I'm really making a difference to someone. Among our patients unexpectedly died, 3 months after I started my job. They made a place to drop by the center and thank me, when his family came for the wake and funeral. Apparently, this man had told them many times of how kind I was to him and how much he liked it. Reading this made me cry, however it also made me happy that my efforts were appreciated.

It's now been a couple of years since I first graduated from the nursing program. I am planning to earn an on line bachelor's of science in nursing while I carry on at my job. While I want to avoid getting into an administrative position, my hope is always to ultimately become head nurse. I like spending my workday caring for patients. The sensation I get from my job is worth more than any paycheck can ever be.The American College of Legal Nurse Consulting
