Hi, my title is Carol and I'm addicted to audio books.

My story: I am 32 and hooked on audiobooks. I have been wanting to reduce but I cant.

I was first introduced to audiobooks 12 years ago. My parents bought me a King audio book as a personal gift. It included 10 books on cassettes each 25 minutes. I finished the initial night hearing it. Then, I started getting audio books for me and for all of my friends birthdays (whether they preferred audio books or not).

I moved to audio books on CDs and later on to downloadable audio books as times handed. I have known all the on line audio guide rental services and buying services. Actually, I had an account in many of them.

My normal result was two audio books weekly but I remember some days where I skipped sleeping and listened to as much as five audio books. I purchased almost any new fiction audio book on the market.

I managed to find some free audio books but nonetheless paid a lot of money for my audio book selection.

I acquired hooked on the comfort of getting a small book. I acquired hooked on the narration, the music and the sound effects.

I got addicted to the capability to pay attention to audio books anytime and everywhere (I remember playing it in the restroom and in function and in other unusual sites).

And then I made a decision to make the move. I would join it, if I cant beat it. I resigned from work and made a profession out of my activity I began making money out of my extensive familiarity with audiobooks.

In these days, I write reviews about new audio books and serve as an expert for audio books publishers. I am happy listening to free audio books and being covered it (just finished listening to the last Harry Potter audio book).
