The Identification and Records Bureau beneath the Nevada Department of Public Safety may be the central repository of Nevada legal records. The goal of their state database of Nevada criminal records is to provide central, full and recorded criminal justice information and statistics to the states criminal justice community, the general public, and a great many other approved clients and allies. Such information is then utilized in making informed public policy, criminal justice and regulatory decisions concerning crime and criminal offenders. &lt;br /&gt;

What Information will there be in Nevada Police Records? &lt;br /&gt;

Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) 179.070, Nevada police records are identified as: &lt;br /&gt;

History of criminal history means information contained in records collected and maintained by agencies of criminal justice, the subject of which is really a natural person, consisting of descriptions which identify the subject and notations of arrests, detention, indictments, information, or other formal criminal charge and tendencies of costs, including dismissals, acquittals, beliefs, sentences, correctional direction occurring in Nevada, information concerning the position of an offender on parole or probation, and information concerning a guilty person who has listed therefore pursuant to part 179C of NRS. Only information is included by the term contained in memoranda of legal justice in this state. The term is intended to be equivalent to the phrase criminal history record information as utilized in national regulations. &lt;br /&gt;
