新页面

The grandest idea in the religion of the Vedanta is that individuals may reach the exact same purpose by different paths; and these routes I've generalized into four, viz. those of function, love, psychology, and knowledge. Nevertheless, you should, at once, keep in mind that these categories aren't very marked and quite exclusive of each other. Each blends into the other. But based on the form which prevails, we name the categories. It is not that you can find men who have no other school than that of work, nor that you can find men who are no more than loyal worshipers only, nor that there are men who've no more than mere information. These sections are made in accordance with the type or the habit that could be seen to prevail in a guy. We've identified that,in the end,all these four pathways meet and become one. All religions and all ways of work and worship lead us to 1 and the exact same purpose.

I have already tried to point out that purpose. It's freedom as I understand it. Everything that we are perceived around by us is struggling towards freedom, from the atom to the man, from the insentient, lifeless particle of matter to the highest existence on earth, the human heart. The entire world is actually the result of this struggle for freedom. In all combinations every particle is trying to be on a unique way, to travel from one other particles; nevertheless the the others are holding it in balance. Our earth is trying to fly away from the sunlight, and the moon from the earth.
Every thing tends to infinite dispersion. All that we see in the market has because of its base this one struggle towards freedom; it is under the impulse of this tendency that the robber and the saint prays steals. If the type of action taken isn't a one,we call it evil; and when the manifestation of it's high and proper, we call it good. But the impulse is the same, the struggle towards independence. The saint is oppressed with the knowledge of his situation of bondage, and therefore he worships God he wants to get rid of it;.

The intruder is oppressed with the concept that he does not possess certain points, and so he takes he tries to get rid of that desire, to acquire freedom from it;. Independence is the one goal of most nature, sentient or insentient;and consciously or unconsciously, anything is struggling towards that goal. The freedom which the saint seeks is quite distinctive from that which the robber seeks; the freedom loved by the saint leads him to the pleasure of infinite, unspeakable bliss, while that on which his heart have been set by the robber just forges other bonds for his heart.
