1. The most significant error by far is when college players consider they are prepared for the NFL and they enter the draft before they are a senior. The majority of college players are not ready physically or mentally to play in the NFL....

As a former NFL player I have inside understanding as to what coaches are looking for when drafting college players. From my encounter, here are the 5 largest blunders college players make that will hurt their chances of receiving drafted into the NFL:

1. The most significant mistake by far is when college players feel they are prepared for the NFL and they enter the draft ahead of they are a senior. The majority of college players are not prepared physically or mentally to play in the NFL. By staying in college and obtaining far more years of playing time, a player will be both physically and mentally a lot more prepared for the NFL.

2. The second error college players make is not operating as hard as they can to find out the approaches of expert football as a sport. College players must be learning every thing they can about expert football as if they have been studying to be a coach. College players should study the greatest players in the position they want to play and find out the methods these players are utilizing to dominate their position. three. College players do not work almost as challenging as they need to to earn excellent grades in their college courses. The NFL wants to draft smart players. If you want to make it to the NFL, stay out of trouble and hold partying to a minimum. If your close friends are problems makers who attempt to get you to do stupid factors, get new friends. five. Players want to remain in shape and continue to perform out year round. Becoming a professional football player is a full-time job. Players who dominate the sport are the players who perform hardest for the duration of the off season to keep in shape and master their football expertise. Just like every thing else in life, folks who operate the hardest to master their job are the individuals who are the most successful.
