Occasionally when I speak with folks about ambitions they appear to interpret the intention of goals as being to get significantly more items. Naturally points are imperative but there is so significantly alot more to target setting that I wish to share with you.

Of course it is vital to have objectives for new points ...

Probably your dream house by the ocean ...

Maybe a good shiny new car to get you about in style ...

or even a new iPod to listen to your Goals Magic CD's on :)

It is terrific to set goals for new points, but not for the factors themselves, rather what they will make of you to get them.

But there is a further type of target which I want to challenge you to believe about and begin to set. It really is soul objectives! Now I know you are questioning ... what are soul targets and how do they apply to me and my life? Soul objectives are these targets that are larger than you! They are targets that influence on other men and women and on the planet about you. Now I'm not suggesting that you will want to pursue grand objectives that have a profound effect on the globe about you ... rather, that you appear deep inside oneself and obtain something that you have a passion to contribute to the globe.

What is it that you really feel a sense of want to do a thing about? What lead to can you see oneself adding worth to? What community, national or international projects are calling you to them and resonating with you? All of us require soul targets that we can invest our hearts, our minds and our souls into. We all will need to really feel a connection with one thing bigger than ourselves. Its inherent in our souls to want to give devoid of expectation of return.
