As parents we've so much to bother about when it comes to our kids. We want to protect them from all lifes dangers [http://www.novus.edu/Letter.html school of law online], yet we want to do this without adding unnecessary fear into their lives. When my children were little [http://www.novus.edu/Letter.html the best], we began talking about techniques. What's a good secret and what is a secret? That seemed to be a concept my kids can comprehend, while accomplishing my purpose of maybe not scaring them. Great techniques are things that you can tell mommy or daddy. we we as ordered father a birthday gift. It's a secret today but tomorrow we reach tell father. Yet another good secret is once the principal at school tells you there will be a party for your teacher but it's a secret today. Tomorrow however we reach tell the teacher. A good secret might even be your friend telling you a boy is liked by her, as your children get a bit older. Your child can certainly tell this secret to you, while your child may be expected never to tell the child. So what is just a bad key? A secret is really a secret your child is asked never TO tell. A bad secret might be still another child admitting they did something wrong and asking your child to not tell. It may also be a grownup acting inappropriately together with your child and showing the child to keep this a secret and not tell mommy. My kids asked obviously, "who can tell us bad secrets?" .. I began to tell them that bad people tell bad secrets, and quickly realized this isn't true at all. Instead I made a decision to inform them that the poor key can come from both a young child and an adult who's doing something wrong. To this day I still believe that only someone doing something very wrong may ask a young child to keep a from mommy or daddy. My I and children spent several hours talking about secrets and that mommy and/or daddy should be told secrets. I also assured them which they would NEVER enter trouble for telling mommy or daddy a secret. I can remember once or twice, my children falling and telling a great key when they weren't likely to, but I kept my word and they never got in big trouble. You see, I've often heard that someone working inappropriately will say "if your mommy is told by you, you'll get in trouble."
