Matt Hasselbeck was created on September 25, 1975 in Westwood, Massachusetts. At 6 foot 4 inches and weighing 220 pounds, Hasselbeck could be the perfect size for a top notch NFL quarterback. He also offers among the brightest minds in regards to quarterbacks, to go along with his size. When you combine these two things it's easy to understand why Hasselbeck is now among the top people in the category. But though he's achieving a high amount of success right now, things weren't always this possible for him.

After having a successful career at Xaverian Brothers Senior High School, Hasselbeck made a decision to simply take his game to Boston College. While at Boston College he had a great career, but nothing that blew NFL scouts away. But all along Hasselbeck was working harder than in the past to get ready for another level.

In the 1998 NFL Draft the Green Bay Packers picked Hasselbeck in the sixth round. Although 186 other participants were chosen before him, Hasselbeck was just pleased to get a chance to participate in the NFL.

In when the Packers traded him to the Seattle Seahawks 2001 his big break was got by Hasselbeck. Throughout his time with the Seahawks he's established many individual documents, and has also led the group back to the top of the NFC. In 2003, Hasselbeck turned the groups all time passer was rated by highest.

For his career Hasselbeck has done 1,342 travels for almost 16,000 yards. This is along with 96 touchdowns, and only 57 interceptions. He is currently in the top 10 for the greatest all time passer score in the NFL. understandable

Matt Hasselbeck has already established a difficult road to NFL recognition, and now that he is there he's showing every one what they passed up on the way. It's safe to state that when Hasselbecks career is together of the very best quarterbacks of his time over that he will be remembered.
