In our home treats hold a great place of honor in the hands of the toddlers. These travel helpful little cakes are, in my opinion, the right food; specifically for little kids. Treats are just the right size for little hands and little lips as well. Through the hot months, I can give a baby a muffin from the rear door and they work gleefully throughout the lawn with treat at hand. Healthy, delicious and satisfying, muffins certainly are a dinner in one.

Muffins, broadly speaking, are available in two forms American and English. My personal favorite muffins to cook and serve are bread-like uneven American muffins. The uneven muffin shirts are good independently, but prepare a muffin recipe, and a masterpiece was created by youve. One word of warning on cooking muffins: don't over mix or youll have a tough muffin with holes at the center. Wake about 10 strokes and your muffins will be good. 1-1/2 cups oats

Raisin and Pumpkin Muffins

1-1/2 cups flour

1/2 glass Splenda

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon remove frames

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup could pumpkin

1 tsp vanilla

5 tbsp melted butter

1 egg beaten

1/2 glass raisins

Preheat oven to 400. Mix dry ingredients together. Add pumpkin, milk, vanilla, butter and egg, stirring gently two times. Add raisins, and stir just until moistened. Player will soon be irregular. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full, and make 18-20 minutes or until passes toothpick test.

Mix up a quick batch of muffins, and watch the crowd come sniffing around to see whats cooking! Treats are most readily useful eaten right after theyve cooled, but in addition freeze well and may be heated in the stove, making them great for family meal planning.
