Kriya yoga has found a location in some people who are looking for a further, more spiritual relationship using their lives. It is a kundalini focused yoga and meditation technique, that also shows esoteric principles and certain religious. Unfortunately, like several similar "spiritual" power structures, it teaches you that primarily your power lies outside of yourself - that's, that you need a 'expert', or 'master' to access your own personal natural spirituality. Kriya yoga has some goals which seem both promising and desirable. They make an effort to expel "obstructions" and "obstacles" from the body and mind.
