The Grey Cup is the name of both the champion of the Canadian Football League and the name of the prize (Cup) that's awarded to the victorious team (The Grey Cup Winners). The Cup was donated in 1909 by the then Governor General of Canada, Lord Earl Grey. The cup was to be recognized to the most effective amateur rugby soccer team in Canada. At the moment Canadian rugby had become acutely different from the rugby union football from which it began. The Cup, with time, became the property of the Canadian Football League, which is known as the CFL. The CFL had developed and become a professional group that played Canadian football. The college football teams compete now for the Vanier Cup. Recent changes in the category have brought about the thought of altering the name of the Grey glass to the name of the present years corporate sponsor. The idea has been openly objected by traditionalists of the CFL, stating that the Canadian Football league shouldn't deal a national and historical treasure for shore expression leage income. To date the glass hasn't been renamed!

As I mentioned earlier the glass was first found in 1909. Below I have shown every sixth dull glass success from 1909 up until in 2010, 2005.
