Dark Trousers Account

There are times when the college programs appear to be completely out of touch with the areas they're in. Our school is struggling with bad teacher parent associations. There are always a number of known reasons for this. Certainly one of the main reasons is that the new principal for the middle school is new to the area. He doesn't have the folks in it and a great knowledge of the community. He is also retired from the military and has a tendency to address the students like they certainly were in boot camp. I really do not mind control, effects and regulations, but he seems to get things to the extreme.My boy is in senior senior high school. He's growing so fast that people could barely keep clothes on him. It appears as though I can get him a fresh set of pants and two weeks later his legs are demonstrating. He is getting close to exactly the same size as my husband, so for a couple months they'll be able to share pants. My boy came home from college with a note from the main stating that most the participants is the choir concert should wear white shirts, dark trousers and dress shoes.Anyone wearing other things would not be permitted to perform. He included that dark vintage high waisted jean shorts will be allowed when they were not faded out. We'd gone through this dress code for choir many years ago. So many parents were upset about maybe not having the ability to afford new clothes, that we held a fund raiser and ordered gowns for the choir. I asked my daughter what happened to the choir robes. He said that the new principal did not like them because it took from each person's personality. I really could not imagine a person that spent the majority of his life wearing a uniform will be worried about this. He explained it absolutely was no big deal since dad's black jeans fit him. I told him it was not about him getting new trousers or wearing dark jeans, it was the fact as a community to buy the robes.I called the college that the parents had taken together. The device rang for many rings before it absolutely was acquired. I asked to talk with the key. I was told that he was on the telephone and that there were three callers holding to talk to him. I guessed I wasn't the only guardian upset by the note. The concert was three times away so my son was told by me he needed to decide to try on the black jeans to be sure they can fit and we also had to locate a white shirt with sleeves which were long enough. We made a suitable clothing out of his dad's clothes. The black jeans were somewhat too long, but this was much better than being too brief. My boy came home with another note stating that the choir members would be carrying gowns for the concert the overnight. Evidently the key altered his mind after spending many hours on the phone with angry parents.
