Proof Evident is a recently released crime fiction novel by attorney and questionable psychologist, John Dicke. The story line relies around a legal case for Judge Avery Jackson who coldly killed Sheriff Hardacre during his speech to 150 city officials. The thing is, Mr. Jackson does not have any memory of the big event at all

Jack Maine leaves the public service and starts up an exclusive practice with the help of his talented wife while taking on this difficult and apparently condemned case. His dedicated and patient staff carries a master researcher and an exceptional young beginner lawyer both of whom are fully aware they could not see a paycheck for some time. Jacks enemy could be the well-financed and quick-witted security team led by an ambitious attorney that is set on becoming "seen." Death follows this case every where. Just once the solicitors feel they're getting someplace - people start dropping like flies. Soon a CIA scandal is unearthed that threatens national security, which strong people are eager to cover-up; meanwhile a ring threatens to seize control of every part of the city.

David Dicke addresses the issue of pleading Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity, than I had previously recognized which is a much larger issue. Even mentioning the plea may turn off a jury, who are hardened by the preconception that the plea is repeatedly used to falsely gain sympathy, and therefore, be given a lighter sentence for a crime they are guilty of doing.

John also shows the strong pressure of a tedious situation, which is often exciting to curious lawyers bored with the routine courthouse actions, and the temptations that could destroy those that have more need than sense. Mr. Dicke uses aspects of true to life, historical events like the government scandal.

It's my estimation that Proof Evident is courtroom drama is favored by a book for deep-thinking individuals who - while there is a lot of it. I found myself attempting to skip through these sections, but had I done so the ending could have left me confused and amazed. I loved the conclusion and was astonished by way of a few people as well. Over all, I believe John Dicke has created an interesting novel that deserves to be given an opportunity by readers of the style.
