I purchased a Soldius1 solar charge this past year to charge my granddaughters iPod and mobile phone while we where hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

It includes eight plastic plugs for charging 250 different products including power-hungry iPods, Zen Micro MP3 players, BlackBerrys, and cell phones from Nokia, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, and Motorola.

The solar charger worked just as the manufacturer said it'd, and charged my granddaughters iPod in less than 3 hours. Where we go camping there are more moose than cell phone systems, so keeping the phone charged wasnt a challenge.

It is a excellent charger, but with a 1.1 watt/6 volt standing youre limited by the

Quantity of devices it may cost through the length of per day.

This fact was born out when my spouse and I recently took my granddaughter and two of her friends camping. The camp site appeared to be a store for Radio Shack.

Take to as it can certainly, the Soldius1 was no match for all your electronic devices these kids brought along. We certainly needed MORE POWER.

The Brunton Solaris 25 solar charger with 25 watts/15.4 volts worth of charging power, gave us precisely what we needed. Its large output solar panels cost everything from cellular phones to car batteries. Best of all, it prices iPods and mobile phones in two enough time it took for the Soldius1.

If you think about the wide selection of larger electrical units it could power, the

Resilience, (they use these on the polar ice cap), and the velocity with which it charges, the Brunton Solaris 25 is a real value.

Something else - you are able to link up to three items for triple the energy.

Whether youre employing a solar charger for hiking or charging the batteries on your yacht, its hard to beat inexpensive and clean solar energy. solar pannels
