Does passing the CFA Level 1, or becoming a fully fledged Chartered Analyst, give me a real & legitimate shot at securing a financial analyst position?

Anyone who has done their CFA or even just passed their CFA Level 1 exam will know that this is a really tough qualification to get (on a par with an MBA) so you would be quite within your rights to feel disappointed if it did not get you a top Wall Street type of job.

So while this may be true, just by virtue of being a Charter Holder does not necessarily mean that doors to unlimited wealth and amazing opportunities will open automatically.

However if you go to the trouble of maximizing the power of this qualification, you will almost certainly be in line for a top position in the world of investment finance.

Furthermore, being able to have your CFA Charterholder qualification on your CV will definitely stand you in good stead for a top job & expose you to other prestigious opportunities.
