You can find few things that I assume up to the start of summer. Sure, I'm a man that loves all the seasons, but none give the thrill to me that summer undoubtedly does annually. When I begin to feel about summer, I get excited because there are literally countless what to be excited about. I get excited about being outside without snowy, I get excited about camping trips with my children, I get excited about long days at the beach taking in the sun and the water, and I get excited about charcoal.

Yes, you read that right. I get excited about charcoal. I love everything about charcoal: its structure, when it is burning the smell of it, and the remarkable way that charcoal makes my food smell before I eat it. The reality is that I enjoy charcoal as it means grilling, and grilling is one of my absolute favorite things you can do.

Some say that all men love to grill, but I am yet to meet many men (although I've met a couple of) who share my great love for the grill. Easily want to grill out for a dinner my spouse never must ask me twice. Even with the greatest day of work I am stimulated and happy to go outside and spend some time making the perfect fire. Charcoal is my parter in crime in regards to preparing the right meal or to grilling vegetables to perfection.

Most people I know have switched to gas grills. Because I enjoy working with charcoal so much I have rejected. As an old grill that requires charcoal a gas grill only does not make the same results. So, much to my wife's dismay, I am caught before where grilling food just right is really a matter of using the proper level of charcoal and then heating it just right.

My love for cooking and charcoal has become a bit of a joke among my friends and family before couple of years. They love to mock the very thing I love. I've received a countless number of pictures, cards and gag gifts mocking my love for charcoal. I don't mind it, actually, because it means that I've gotten my point across successfully: I love charcoal and I think that there is no better solution to grill.
