Misfits could be the story of five young criminals, who meet all through community service. Some are common ASBOs, others smart-mouthed, however they all have something in common: superhero capabilities! Fun!The collection opens with the bunch adding themselves informally, and their crimes are unmasked. Out of left field, storm clouds assemble in the sky, stuff falls from the sky, and the team are stopped in lightning sbo222. This is how they obtain special abilities, that are gradually divulged through the span of the first instance. Their probation official, Tony, who hates the quality of people he has to work well with, can also be suffering from the storm.Kelly, who's doing community service after engaging in a public brawl, grows telepathy. It causes problems in her personal life, as she considers her pet is speaking with her and learns her boyfriend's views. Simon is definitely an introverted arsonist, who gets the energy of invisibility.Nathan is frustrating and bright, gets kicked out-of home by his mother and becomes a homeless. Ultimately taking on residence in-the nearby communtiy center. He finds herself interested in chav Kelly, and provides a lot of the comic relief. He does not appear to possess any special abilities, something which frustrates him.Curtis, a former athlete who is caught for control, gains the power of time treatment. Alisha is just a good-time woman that's doing community service for driving while intoxicated, has the capacity to make everyone who touches her wish to have sex with her. Tony gets the ability of super-strength, and animalistic abilities. His eyes go white and he gets quite ambitious, also harmful. He produces an extremely exciting first episode, to mention the least.The party create a pact to keep consitently the surprise and their abilities a key, as no-one may feel fresh culprits anyway. They soon realize that others in the region were also influenced by the storm, as proved by their unusual powers. They're supplied guidance by probation worker Sally, but she's an insurance policy. Fans of Skins may recognize that each episode revolves around a certain personality. I'm not really a huge supporter of it myself, but I can see why a person who loves Skins would like Misfits.At not exactly an hour or so long, each episode could keep you tempted, the end credits roll far too early for my liking. It may appear such as for instance a Heroes rip-off, but trust me it's not. There is lots of dark humor, without which it could be pretentious.In fact it's so great, it'll make you want to commit an offense so you can perform community service (caution: experience varies). Powerful, twisted, dark and interesting, I can't await the next sequence.
