Seriously, I'm unsure what made me think I might do this. Well, actually, I have always considered myself a somewhat intelligent and relatively competent person. I'm in my thirties with young ones and a vocation, I even speak a little Spanish, just how hard can it be to program a in The Royal Caribbean?Apparently, connecting with a wedding coordinator on line (my chosen way of transmission) isn't as easy as it appears. Nearly all of my demands sent through the resorts' web sites went without reaction. The one (yes, one) who did respond set up a date and time plus a deadline for signing a contract to keep it. Then nothing. I called, I emailed, I also flew down there and tried to meet up with her right before the deadline... nothing. I started to panic. I'd let all our family and friends know our ideas in progress since a destination wedding requires more preparation.Finally, I sent an email to the corporate headquarters here in the U.S. for a hotel where I really desired to have our wedding. They put me touching their wedding coordinator at the hotel in Cancun, who has been a blessing. She asked questions, then I asked questions and e-mailed photographs I had found online of things I needed like menus, flowers and cake. She's actually gone above and beyond to give me everything I want, exactly how I want it for this crucial day.When arranging a wedding in Mexico, getting back in touch with the appropriate person is key.
