That is a very short, no fluff, plan of just how to write a horror program.

A horror movie has specific principles. The audience is going to be disappointed If you break too many.

It is a very short, no fluff, plan of how exactly to write a horror program.

1. The Hook. Begin with a hammer. Move right suspense picture. ("Scream" opens with a terrifying collection with Drew Barrymore on the phone with a monster)

2. The Downside. Introduce your hero. Give a flaw to him. We must take care of him before you can put your hero in jeopardy. Our hero must be wanted by us to ensure success. Therefore make him human. (In "Signs" Mel Gibson plays a who has lost his faith after his wife died)

3. Worries. A variant of The Flaw. The hero has a fear. Perhaps a fear of heights, or claustrophobia. (In "Jaws" Roy Scheider features a concern with water. At the end he's to overcome his fear by venturing out onto the sea to kill the shark)

4. Number Escape. Where he is able to perhaps not escape the fear have your hero at a remote spot. (Like the hotel in "The Shining")

5. Foreplay. Tease the market. Make sure they are jump at scenes that appear frightening -- but turn out to be entirely normal. (Just like the cat jumping out from the closet) Give some to them more foreplay before getting the actual creature.

6. Bad Attacks. A few times throughout the middle of the program show how evil the creature could be -- as it attacks its victims.

7. Study. The hero investigates, and finds out the facts behind the horror.

8. Showdown. The ultimate confrontation. The hero must face both his anxiety and the beast. The hero uses his head, in place of muscles, to outsmart the creature. (At the end of "The Village" the blind woman tips the beast to belong to the gap in the floor)

9. Aftermath. Everything's back once again to the way it was from the start -- but the hero has improved for the better or for the worse. (At the end of "Signs" Mel Gibson puts on his clerical collar again -- he got his faith back)

10. Evil Lurks. We see evidence that the monster might reunite somewhere..somehow..in the future..( Just about all "Friday The 13'th"-movies end with Jason showing symptoms of returning for another sequel)

Do it. All the best! look into experts academy
