A bad secret might be still another child admitting they did something wrong and asking your child to not tell. It may also be a grownup acting inappropriately together with your child and showing the child to keep this a secret and not tell mommy.

My kids asked obviously, "who can tell us bad secrets?" .. I began to tell them that bad people tell bad secrets, and quickly realized this isn't true at all. Instead I made a decision to inform them that the poor key can come from both a young child and an adult who's doing something wrong. My child never was never wanted by me to possess a visual image of having in big trouble for telling mommy a solution.
