Work at home parents have a plethora of options available on the Internet.
Among the greatest opportunities for an online business to work at home in my opinion is affiliate marketing. This is not something new, there are countless people doing it all around the world. Actually the biggest challenge one would have starting a business as an affiliate marketer now is all the competition has become quite savvy over the years and have a respectable handle on the market. The upside is it doesn't take much money to get started and the income potential is truly unlimited. Your best option to get started in this particular or any other work at home business is to get an education from a trusted source that is actually doing affiliate marketing themselves and can prove their results. The challenge with that is ... you become their competition if they teach you properly, so how could you possibly find a trusted source?
I work at home as an affiliate marketer.
I started affiliate marketing about seven years ago when I got an education in ways to be sold on an affiliate marketing education by people with false claims and worthless information. I 'd buy one ebook after another, each claiming to have all the secrets. Each had just enough information to get me involved enough to look for the next bit of information I needed to finally succeed at my work at home business. I failed miserably at it after a couple years work and thousands of dollars invested. I think I had a total of about ten bucks come in the whole time from a person that bought something off my site from Amazon and a couple click-throughs on my Google Adwords. I backed off on that whole idea and built a web store selling golf clubs. I did make money at this one, but it was a great deal of work packing and shipping, customer service, inventory, returns, warranties, and virtually all the stuff all my offline businesses entailed except now I did it at home too. That was not what I desired for my work at home business!
Back to affiliate marketing.
I came across a post in a forum one day that had mentioned doing mlm on the internet and it just sounded interesting to me. I was pretty aware of the business model, they all seemed to be pretty much the same. I had worked an Amway business many years ago and really liked the potential but for some reason couldn't bring myself to execute what it required to succeed at it. So I clicked the link to discover more, which took me to the all too familiar page where I needed to submit my email address to download a free video. Normally I would have just clicked the little red x in the upper right corner and went on my merry way. But I really wished to know what this guy was up to.
I watched the video which told me about everything I wanted and needed to hear to get me back in to affiliate marketing, the right way, with access to the education I needed from the top earners in the business. Once I heard the information and saw the truth and went surfing for the evidence all over the Internet ... I knew this was the real deal. How? You know when you know ... kind of like how you know when you're in love. It just is and you know it, and you can't explain it.
