Poor old Santa Claus. Sometimes he gets a bad rap. People say he doesnt represent Christmas well. People say he doesnt set an example for Christians enjoying December 2-5. And people saygasp!that he doesnt even exist. Plus, there are some folks out there who are attempting to confuse just who Santa is. Is he really Saint Nicolas? Or is he some imposter, some large elf from the North Pole who would like to get credit for everything that Saint Nick has done and stands for.

Frightening material, right? Well, if you're getting too upset by these anti-Santa ideas, perhaps you should stop reading this article today. It just gets worse the deeper you enter these anti-Santa theories.

Are you still around? Good, because to protect our image of Santa Clausour jolly old manwe need to know why people are out to get him. Then, and only then, can we stop them from trashing the good name of the man in the red suit.

To start, these anti-Santa people acknowledge that Santa has some really great qualities. Hes always cheerful and happy. He always has fun games and presents to offer, and he is always generous (unless you were naughty, of course). But here's where these anti-Santa people stop with the comments. You see, they say that Santa, with all his goodness, is for children and not for grownups.

Even worse, they say that Santa is around nowadays to make money for massive Eastern shopping syndicates. Hes only here to create other people a sale. All that stuff about Santa spreading good cheer, and giving gifts, is all composed, they say. The true purpose of the person with the white beard and the red cap is to get us to eat, to spend money, to provide gifts just like Santa does.

That is horrible anti-Santa stuff, right? Well, feel it or not, it gets worse. These anti-Santa persons carry on to mention that Santa cant be believed because he travels around the world in a sleigh. Certainly, the anti-Santa people have no belief in Rudolph. And speaking of religion, the persons also say that Santa removes from the real intent behind Xmas, which can be to enjoy Baby Jesus.

You see, these anti-Santa people say the real Saint Nicolas is better than Santa. He was a genuine person, they say, who believed and practiced goodwill to all men, women, and children. He was good and kind, and was a passionate believer in Baby Jesus. And Santa isnt true, they say?

Had enough? Me too. Heres how you can realize that these anti-Santa individuals are way off base. What these anti-Santa folks dont comprehend is that Saint and Santa Nick are one and exactly the same. So you cant say that Saint Nick is better than Santa, or that Santa is burning Saint Nicks type. St Nick is Santa! Together, as you, they represent all that's great about Christmas, and all that we should exercise every single day, not merely December 2-5.

So, please, anti-Santa bashers, please leave the big man alone. Hes never done such a thing but provide holiday cheer, love for humankind, and a great deal of fun.
