History Building on Sulphur Mountain Looks Demolition

A heritage building identified by the national government will be torn down later in 2013 by the government, since there is no funding for its restoration. The construction, called the Wheeler House and the Claremount House, has been given as a protection hazard.The house, which sits on Sulphur Mountain's northern slope, was originally a summer residence for A.O. Wheeler, president of the Alpine Club of Canada environmental remediation San Diego. Wheeler was also a popular surveyor of hills. The Wheeler building has been underneath the auspices of Parks Canada since 1991. A long period later, the design was given an Established Federal Heritage Building. The property will undoubtedly be demolished.According to Steve Malins, a manager of national historical sites, if the ecological review now being conducted on the location is accepted, the Wheeler house is in bad condition. Malins stated that Parks Canada sought the advice of a few organizations on how to save the building, but no sensible suggestions were forthcoming. She said that she's disappointed that people will not take advantage of the property as time goes by. She stated that she obtained a last October from Parks Canada, informing her of the house's disposal.Crompton comes with an ally in Dr. PearlAnn Reichwein, a of Alberta associate professor.
