On September 6, 1968, MarAa Guadalupe Jones Garay widely known as Lupita Jones was born in Baja California, gambling in Acapulco. Twenty-three decades later, Jones offered satisfaction to Mexico flag when she became the first and Mexican to get the title of Miss Universe in 1993. Until this day, no other Mexican is able to get the prestigious name again.Before joining the Miss Universe, Jones was crowned as SeAorita Mexico or Miss Mexico in September of 1990. After a month or two, she competed against 72 candidates from around the world for the Miss Universe 1991 name that was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.During the pre-pageant, Jones was demonstrably a well liked candidate by the judges. While the only contestant who gained the average score of more than nine it was made by her to the semi final round. In 1994, she launched Nuestra Belleza Mexico which has become the Official Mexican Pageant that is responsible in selecting the agent of Mexico to three prestigious beauty tournaments - Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss World.Lolita Jones can be a supporter of children's right when she backed an application made to support ill-treated girls. In as Us Populace Fund (UNFPA) Goodwill Ambassador 2,000, she was appointed. At the moment, Jones continues to be effective with Nuestra Belleza Mexico and has produced one Miss International in 2007 through Priscilla Perales.
