Stop Stealing and Acting Corruptly

When training on the value of foundations and essentials for successful living, two schoolboys preparing to play professional football were surprised to discover that God had said, "You shall not steal." They knew stealing was wrong but they didn't understand why. Our attention is drawn by this eighth Commandment in the Ten Commandments to how we think and how we live.What will soon be our strategy? Will our focus be on finding rather than giving?Theft is just a sign of man's greed where he believes everything will be fine when he acquires material or intangible items, without considering the thoughts and emotions of others.The boundaries and conventions established by community and God are scorned and rejected, causing the epitome of selfishness. Almighty God might have us appreciate the rights and needs of the others. That Commandment guards and protects our legitimate to purchase and own property. Our way of material wealth will be balanced. God wants us to make use of what He provides wisely. Assets should never become our main desire in life.Material blessings and riches could possibly be the method of achieving more crucial targets, as kindness in the place of greed motivates your choices we make.This reflects the type of God Who is therefore good when He allows and makes. In God's eyes, giving and offering are more important than hoarding money and catching possessions."He who has been stealing must steal no further, but must function, doing something of use with his own hands, that he might have something to fairly share with those in need." That guidance, given to specific disciples of Jesus, suggests that before they stumbled on belief in Christ, they had been robbers, and needed training to prevent taking. Exactly how many need to be trained to avoid stealing and make that huge change in attitude from dealing with giving?Thieves could be understood - also those people who have stolen from God.
