Giving education was considered as royal job, a serious responsibility of the instructor and remuneration should not be expected by him from the students. One had to take that occupation then only he could become a Brahmin. Money couldn't be taken by the Brahmin to give education. Education in ancient India was free to all. Education would be funded by the kingdom. Asia is a nation which has minimal literacy but high education. People learn about life, character, crops, and its significance and therefore on.Indian education system was on the basis of the principle of complete development; mind and emotions. Indian system paid great importance to development of ethical only and for that reason, presented brahmacharya system. In those times students is supposed to learn only. Indian program gave emphasis to learning through training. It was certainly centered on religious acts and religious techniques. One must appreciate that faith in days past was just a life-style hence, no conflict with education. One had to follow a strict life style which one has to still follow. Athavaveda a historical book talks in detail the education part; the system and methods to be followed.It but, had some defects. Education was on a those that deserve and wasn't open to all. Next it was Guru (instructor) centric i.e. for every point one had to be determined by the wizard and his knowledge was considered great. Durability of ancient Indian education system was proven again and again. Because the early stages of foreign invasion India lost all its material wealth however, not the Indian ethos and brilliance of our (Arian) tradition and believes. It was possible due to the basis of Indian education program. As I feel were:1 the others speak about Ethics but Indians practice through education.Aims of the Indian System. The immediate purpose was to make so that they could follow the duties of all other Ashrams of life faithfully.2 all students fit to become useful members of the community. The goal was to make organization and good character through ethical values.3. The Indian education system made a difference between mere scholarship and whole education.4. The aim of the machine was development of full personality.5. Next was inculcation of social and social tasks. Asia in historical time was a society primarily controlled by social regulations which gave us our power. It's the sole community where in fact the social system of conducting business was so powerful and independent that people survived in spite of foreign invasion and rule.6. Indian education offered social effectiveness and happiness. We all know in our ancient books you can find types of people helping the society.7. Historic education program shown maintenance of national heritage and culture hence we still have a culture not the same as other organizations. This still remains our energy and I will be able to re-establish our national pride some day. It has given us the unbroken continuity because the ancient times. It is the potency of our ancient education as a nation.Then the issue is where did we fail that we survive? For it had to be protected from foreign influence our education system got enveloped in a shell. That severe massacre of our culture by foreign intruders made us exceedingly introvert. The openness of our society was lost and formal education became the domain of few. That destroyed the power of our academia to expand understanding. The burning of our established centers of education created people frightened. The mass lost the desire to understand because home-grown knowledge was not valued by them. People drifted from formal learning procedure and way was given by this to a variety of raw procedures inside our society. Indian culture lost the fundamental ability to take and acquire advantage of knowledge. The body of understanding turned foreign that has been a rare commodity just the rich can afford. The British rule took benefit of this gap and presented something to accommodate requirements of the Empire. The device didn't promote beyond burning. This practice continues to be common in Indian education system. It discourages boys from having their own separate opinion on a subject.We quit learning and all element of faith our old texts were being considered.
