It was called 'Candid Camera', and the concept was so clever that many shows that we enjoy today have their origins predicated on it. Genuine Camera was actually preceded by another Funt present named 'Candid Microphone' in June of 1947.These shows presented a hidden microphone or camera set to report an unsuspecting victim who's challenged in an uncommon situation. Looks a little like spying, does not it? These quick films, which we'd call videos today, were fairly simple to create but occasionally specific props needed to be developed. Maybe you have seen many of these entertaining episodes employing a car that just happened to have another gas container, or an office desk with drawers that pop open and shut all by themselves.In those days it took quite a lot of work to cover cumbersome camera and recording equipment, but today it is incredible how small and reliable cameras have become. This is partially due to the increased need by the spy and surveillance sector whose need for tiny gadgets has spurred to the search for miniaturization.The trickle down effect from this approach has triggered smaller and smaller digital camera models for private use. Also our cellular phones have built-in video and audio capabilities. The well-known Woody Allen worked for Allen Funt in the 1960s, honing his acting and directing abilities. Today every one of us can be quite a Woody making mini videos and distributing them to the friends or placing them on UTube.The line between just-for-fun, business usage, and professional monitoring, has become increasingly confused. There's many spy equipment which can be used to discreetly collect data, history meetings, give monitoring, or simply just goof around with. What little boy has not tried to hear through walls, or wanted x-ray glasses?Well, the mind that is boggled by the variety of spy equipment is available. Imagine yourself delicately employing a pen in a conference which has a microphone, camcorder and DVT camera. Put it in to a USB interface, then view and down load the footage, when you yourself have obtained your information. Perhaps you'd rather achieve the same process using your helpful dandy spy view that features plenty of storage capability and files in color.Maybe your task requires you to mingle in the gang. Whenever you gently grab a stick of gum, no-one can think that hidden within the delicious fruit deal is a mini-camera filled with micro SD card slot and 2GB of memory. Who will be able to tell that the switch on your own shirt is really a cleverly concealed small camcorder. It's also most unlikely that anyone can recognize your cool spy belt buckle using a DVR built right in. Grin, you're on candid belt buckle.
