Do you believe you are at-the tipping point of a brand new working revolution? Okay we all know we're in the 'information age', but what does this actually mean, and how must Management Consultants take advantage of this change to build their client base globally?Let us start with the result, ok a little reverse psychology being used here, but you'll be engaged from the start to understand, how landfill consultants can build their organization on a global basis without leaving their office and having a reach of clients lining up to work with them?In this line, I'll summarize how Environmental Consultants can use the combination of the internet, social-media and email marketing to build their place within their prospects eyes and draw clients immediately towards them without having to use these old-fashion marketing practices such as cold calling.To help create the point, take a trip back circa 150 years ago in England, at the time of the industrial revolution and the change that happened not simply from an industrial perspective but also culturally.The neighborhood at this point in time was polarised, possibly a few significant conurbations e.g London, o-r numerous community based small communities that worked the land to build a good physical change happened to the landscape, as the key was the movement of recycleables and share to fuel the substantial economic development of the Industrial Revolution. Pathways were created to easily move things, followed by Rail and later Road links.This went greater developed communities to develop and form into great commercial centers including the Midlands. Here these communities built their prosperity based on a greater geographic reach, people started to reject the little town communities,the land and cottage industries, and were drawn to the income they might create in the new economic centres.Small communities, were self-limiting and so new larger more prosperous communities were built on the new technology offered at the moment, pulling employees to them like a magnetic force.This progress continued to become international communities, and build the largest economic Empire of its time.The theory I describe here is man is drawn to building larger and stronger communities for the benefit of all and their economic well being.Now advance to to-day, and take the above example and apply it to the world currently.Do you see people building their very own communities that permit them access to reach the communities they need to build on an international basis. The Internet and Social Websites, are and will continue to be the business building resources for Environmental Consultancies, to entry and build relationships with clients and prospects from any part of the world.You have the chance to actually build your own unique business communityIn reality this has lead to somewhat of a backlash as a variety of support lead businesses, are going from the conurbations to the countryside, as these strong sources permit you to build and build your business from any part of the world. Consumers are thinking about your knowledge and your answer giving skills.Your emphasis to grow your company is always to make the most of this powerful resource which lies at your fingertips, and to create and access your own customer community...but how I here-you say?I will cover this on part 2 of this series, look out for it.
