Iraq Parliament Requires Month Down - Plans To Move Fishing In Maine
Despite its allies in Iraq and appeals by America, the Iraqi Parliament adjourned for the month of August, with people expressing their determination to fly to Maine and go Lake Talquin Boat Ramps."We have already been working hard for the entire year," a lawmaker said. "Even although we did not achieve such a thing, we deserve a holiday for turning up. And, if fishing in Maine is good enough for George Bush and Vladimir Putin, it's good enough for me."A reporter questioned, "Has George Bush invited one to go fishing to be gone by you with him?""Heck, no!" the Parliamentarian responded. "Maybe it is because you will find so many of us. Anyway, I may fish down the beach from his house and see if anything develops.""We are likely to get 8 weeks off," yet another member of the Parliament lamented. "We already quit July. So the least Bush may do is ask us on the boat. Besides, we don't have a single matter to vote on, because all of the issues in Iraq get decided behind closed doors, and all the doors have been supplied off."Prime Minister Nouri al-Miliki reported, "I tried to get the people to forego their vacation. Nevertheless now that they're taking it, I want to head to Maine myself. I could use monthly and never having to think of conditions that, as part of the Shiite majority, I have no real interest in solving. But I can tell you now, I'll not go fishing with George Bush, since I am not sure we can agree on which rod I reach use."Since the Parliament is not planned to reconvene until September 4th, there's disbelief that the September survey about progress in Iraq will show the type of progress that George Bush has to support shore up Congressional support for the war.Commenting on the prospect of the Iraq Parliament going fishing in Maine, Bush said, "Look, if I see them on the seashore, sure, I'll invite them onto the ship. I know, needless to say, that I could unfit them all on simultaneously, so I will need certainly to make many visits. But the opportunity is welcomed by me. And it is possible to guess, as Captain in Chief, I will be fishing for significantly more than striped bass."
