Diagnosis of Deafness and Hearing Loss

Sensorineural Hearing loss

Attacks - These could cause loss of hair cells i.e. mumps or meningitis
Conductive Hearing Loss
Conductive Hearing loss is basically due to congestion in the outer ear which prevents or inhibits noise passing to the internal ear.
This is brought on by anything that inhibits the transmission of sound from the external to the internal ear, such as;
Ear attacks
Stuff hearing
Build-up of wax,
Damage to the ossicles or perforated eardrum
