Credit Score Dating may be a real thing, but CreditScoreDating.Com is not. The site, owned and operated by Earl Samuel, is in fact a scam. Many of the profiles shown on the site are in fact fakes. Following a news story on the Today show regarding the website we began an independent investigation into CreditScoreDating.Com as well as the other site's owned and operated by Mr. Samuel. Yes, you guessed it, those are also fakes. It appears Mr. Samuel just happened to be at the right place at the right time for his site to see some of the limelight, when in fact there are minimal actual human profiles existing on the site. We have not reached out to Mr. Samuel for a comment, but as the site is now listed for sale on Flippa.Com and has been given considerable air time on both TV and print media, we expect some investigators will be coming to talk to Mr. Samuel soon enough.

To put fake profiles on a dating site to make it look more successful, and then attempt to sell it is considered an act of fraud within the United States and can be punishable by many years in the federal prison system. We expect that following the publishing of our findings in The New York Times that Mr. Samuel will probably disband his site altogether.

This is a problem that has plagued many young entrepreneurs credit score dating - how can you build up a site for success without doing anything 'shady' in the process? The answer, dear readers, is hard work. Just like everything else.
