Watch CSI Arkansas Season 9 Instance 8 - Pleased Birthday
Following the Thanksgiving hiatus, CSI cuban coffe addict was right back today with 'Happy Birthday.' Overall, the show was wonderful - it played more in to the dilemma of the story line than actual detective function, though. Not saying that the crime scene was not analyzed or evidence wasn't acquired, but the over all story this week I think, was about the heroes. 'Happy Birthday' started and looked like it was going to be like every other bout of CSI. Horatio sees a victim, calls in the group, and the research begins.I liked how a authors used the 'one-hour earlier' to expose us to the victim since the very first time we see Heather Chapman, she is already unconscious. Because I like to play detective while I observe CSI, I thought I'd the case solved from 10 minutes in.I was convinced that Heather's stepson Josh had been hired by her friend Marcy to kill Heather and her unborn child. Often being wrong is great, whilst the writer's rendition of the account was much better than mine.Turns out the 'hormonal friend' (so-called by Natalia) and mad jealous step-son really had nothing to do with it. As an alternative, the vehicle jacking/hit and work (I am still only a little uncertain in regards to what exactly was likely to occur) was in the offing by Heather's excellent man. He wasn't ready to discuss Heather with a baby, and decided that rather than talking about this such as a realistic person, he had intend to kill the child.Nice guy.Regardless of my issues with the worst father of the year, the event was wonderful. A large amount of turns, converts, and major emotional details built 'Happy Birthday' one of the greatest episodes of CSI: Miami so far - again all my (humble) opinion.I liked seeing Calleigh and Heather together - the scene when Heather first gets up and explains that she wants to hope on her behalf child, but doesn't know any prayers, and Calleigh actions in with one actually choked me up a little bit. That will be possibly the very first time I've ever cried at an episode of CSI.While Calleigh was being encouraging and amazing for the target, Horatio (once more) was taking matters into his own hands.I have talked about this before, but perhaps it bears repeating. What is happening with Horatio? Like I have stated, I understand that he's been tremendous defensive of the patients, especially when they are feminine or young ones - and this girl being eight months pregnant was enough to send him on the edge; but he is getting more and more out of hand with each passing episode. When he and Natalia were in the car with Ruben - the suspect with the broken neck - and Horatio basically told him that if he did not quit his friend's place that people will be discovering him in pieces built my jaw drop. Natalia was no help - she closed the door to the truck when Horatio asked her to and held the child while Horatio pressed on his damaged shoulder!I am not a lawyer, but I don't believe is the best way to get evidence from a suspect.I am awaiting the writers to spell out what is going on with Horatio's downwards spiral. I think maybe it's a good one, if that's the way that they are going. H has seen some pretty terrible things in his type of work, no-one would blame him for snapping a bit bit... but somebody higher up the food chain has to part of and speak with Mr. Caine about his integrity.
