Diagnosis of Deafness and Hearing Loss 

Many people have noted that it is usually difficult to gain a specific diagnosis and causes because of their hearing loss and deafness. 

It's very difficult to offer an exact diagnosis just like many medical ailments there are typically a high amount of individual circumstances and causes to consider, even when using the most innovative diagnosis technology. 

It is generally considered there are 2 major causes for hearing loss & deafness in patients. 

Sensorineural Hearing loss 

Sensorineural hearing loss could be the most prevalent reason behind deafness in britain.

Acoustic Traumatization - very loud noises can damage hair cells. 

Attacks - These could cause loss of hair cells i.e. mumps or meningitis 

Conductive Hearing Loss 

Conductive Hearing loss is basically due to congestion in the outer ear which prevents or inhibits noise passing to the internal ear. 

This is brought on by anything that inhibits the transmission of sound from the external to the internal ear, such as; 

Ear attacks 

Stuff hearing 

Build-up of wax, 

Damage to the ossicles or perforated eardrum
